Courtsdesk notifications are sent out if you track a case and there is a an update related to it. And also if you have a saved search for which there is a new match.

You can find your notifications in three locations:

  • By email - we send all notifications out in one Daily Alerts email

  • In your Alerts section at the top of the menu bar on the left

  • On each case page, company page, director page

Email Notifications

You will receive a Daily alerts email only when a notification for a tracked item or saved search is generated.

In the email, for anything in any High Court case that has changed, as opposed to just been newly added, you will see the new information coloured in green and the old information which has been removed or superseded in red.

Anything new appears simply in green, without a corresponding red / deleted entry.

For example:

Alerts Section

The first option at the top of your menu bar on the left is entitled 'Alerts', and gives a count of all unread notifications, and shows the 10 most recent.

You can also click on 'View All' which takes you to a table of all the notifications you have received.

Like all the tables on Courtsdesk, this can be sorted by any of the column headers, and can be searched.

You can also filter by what type of alert you have received. Clicking on the "Type" column header gives you the option to choose one of the available options.

Alerts on Cases

All your alerts also appear on their relevant case pages.

Please note, that these alerts only appear on items that you track. If you are not tracking that case, you will not see recent changes or filings.

The alerts are added to the top of any case - a note to say there have been changes, and the option to view the detail of what those changes were.
