One of our users told us, “I want to track if any future proceedings are issued against a particular company and any updates to any proceedings which have already been issued against it.” This is how to do it.

Perform a search for the name of interest in the high court or the circuit court, depending on your interests, using either the search bar or advanced search form. This will show you all of the existing proceedings against that particular name. Pro tip: use the exact match filter in the advanced drop down menu to eliminate noisy results.

On the search results page you will see this red link in the top right hand corner of the screen:

Click the link to save your search. Courtsdesk will start monitoring for that name every day. If there is a new match for your query, we’ll send you an alert.

Now you can be sure that you will be notified of any new proceedings issued against a specific person or company. Be careful to consider possible name variants that may be used to record such proceedings - we perform an extended fuzzy match for you by default to assist in this, however, engaging with the exact match filter can eliminate that noise.

Alerts will be sent to you as part of your daily email, but they can also be viewed in-app on your Alerts page.

You can manage your Saved Searches, along with everything else you are tracking, by clicking the binoculars icon - Tracking - in your sidebar.

Clicking on the 'dustbin' icon for any of those will remove that tracked item from your profile.
