Courtsdesk maintains a record of the data on courts.ie as close to 'live' as possible.
However for some High Court cases - usually older cases or ones which no user is tracking, the data may need to be refreshed.
There are two ways to be sure you're not missing anything:
Monitor the case
Refresh the case
Monitoring Cases
If you use the blue Track button we will check at least once every day for any updates. Where new information is found you will automatically receive an alert by email or in your notifications section. All High Court cases tracked - by any user - are updated daily in this way.
Refreshing a case
On the profile page for any High Court case, if it has not been updated in over 24 hours, you will see a green bar warning you that it may need to be refreshed.
The date it was last updated is always visible, beside the 'Get Report' button.
Clicking anywhere on the green bar activates a refresh of the data - a live update of the High Court case data from courts.ie
Once the refresh has been requested a second green bar notification appears at the top of the screen to ask you to reload the page in your browser:
Following a reload of the browser page, you will see the date that the case was "Last Updated" should now appear as today's date. If it does not show today's date it may be as a result of slightly slower than usual update and another page reload may be required.
